Cass Thomas Therapy
Integrative Arts Psychotherapist
If life feels overwhelming or confusing, you don’t have to face it alone.
If something is troubling you, I can offer you a safe space to explore challenges, and support change.
I offer Art Psychotherapy and counselling in Hitchin and Letchworth.
I work with:
-
young people and adults, offering 50-minute weekly sessions.
Areas of Expertise

Therapy is for anyone experiencing difficult feelings, or who feels they are in a situation which is stuck or unmanageable.
Some of the areas I work with:
-
Life Events
Bereavement, illness, complex trauma, life transitions e.g. divorce, college, moving away etc.
-
Mental Health Issues
Anxiety, panic attacks, depression, emotional dysregulation
-
Personal Challenges
Relationship problems, attachment issues, Neurodiversity, Anger, insecurities, sexual issues, identity issues, suicidal thoughts, self-harm.
How I work:
I combine talking therapy with creative approaches to support your needs. Rather than using the same approach for everyone, I draw on different ideas and methods to help you understand yourself and make changes in your life.
Some people prefer to talk during sessions. Others find that art and creativity help them express feelings and experiences that are hard to put into words.
I offer support shaped around you. We work from where you are, at a pace that feels right for you.
You do not need to be good at art, have any experience, or even enjoy art to benefit from art therapy. It is about the process, not the end result. There is no right or wrong, and nothing is judged.
Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like a free 20 min phone consultation to find out more.
About Me
My name is Cass
I am a qualified Arts Psychotherapist. I trained for 4 years at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, and two years prior to that in Person-Centred Counselling at Carino Counselling.

My practice is trauma-informed. I work holistically and relationally to consider you as a whole being; using attachment, psychodynamic, and somatic approaches throughout seven art forms.
